The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in its continuous drive to expand its capacity to better serve the business community of the country wishes to recruit a self-motivated individual to fill the below vacancy to support and drive the initiatives of the Chamber.

The executive-level position is broad-based and offers an opportunity to liaise with the largest client base in the private sector at senior management level in addition to senior officials in the public sector.

Job Role:-

The ideal candidate would be expected to;-

Ø Attending monthly Committee meetings and Sub Committee meetings, completion of minutes and follow-up

Ø Assisting the Annual General Meetings (AGM’s) of Associations

Ø Assisting Seminars/Webinars, Workshops, Forums and industry activities

Ø Ensure up-to-date member databases of the assigned Associations & Business Councils

Ø Assist in all other work of the Department and as assigned by the Superior

The candidate must have;

Ø Excellent English writing and speaking skills

Ø Preferably an undergraduate (recently graduated or currently enrolled) in a recognized university/ institute OR Full or Part Professional Qualification in Management / Business Administration or related field of study

Ø Computer literate with good Word, Power Point and Excel skills

Ø Good planning and organizing abilities

Ø Solid attention to details

Ø The ability to work under pressure and meet timely deadlines with the ability to operate autonomously.

An allowance will be paid to cover travel and meal costs.
