𝐕𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 – 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐫𝐬

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐫𝐬 to join our dynamic team. This full-time, on-site role is based in the Colombo District.

🔹 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐫𝐬
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:

  • BSc (Hons) Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university (minimum Second-Class Upper Division preferred, but not mandatory) or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institute.
  • Familiarity with digital measurement and BOQ production software, such as RIB CostX.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Cost consultancy or similar practice (or 3+ years if holding a Diploma).
  • Proven experience in pre-contract work, including measurements, cost estimation and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) using standard methods of measurement such as NRM 1, NRM 2, POMI, or CESMM (SMM7 and HWMM optional).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver medium-to-large-scale project work accurately and within deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, with strong coordination, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • International experience in a consultancy or contractor environment will be considered an advantage.

🔹 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐫𝐬
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:

  • BSc (Hons) Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institute.
  • Strong understanding of measurement principles, cost planning, and BOQ preparation.
  • Basic familiarity with digital measurement and BOQ software such as RIB CostX or Bluebeam (training can be provided).
  • 1 to 2 years of post-graduate experience in a construction, cost consultancy, or civil engineering environment (or 2 to 3 years if holding a Diploma).
  • Exposure to pre-contract work, including quantification, cost estimation, and cost planning for small to medium-scale projects.
  • Understanding standard methods of measurement such as NRM 1, NRM 2, POMI, or CESMM.
  • Ability to support senior team members in preparing BOQs, cost plans, and tender documentation.
  • Team-oriented mindset, with good coordination and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
  • Prior internship or training experience in a QS consultancy environment will be an advantage.
