We’re looking for an experienced and visionary Head of MEP to lead our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) function and drive excellence across design, delivery, and team leadership

About the Role:-

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of MEP will be responsible for shaping MEP strategy, ensuring high-quality technical delivery, and embedding strong project management discipline across all projects. This is a senior leadership role with real influence on sustainability, innovation, and business performance

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead MEP Design & Delivery – Provide technical leadership across all MEP disciplines – Ensure designs meet project requirements, international standards, and sustainability goals – Drive seamless integration with architectural and structural teams

✅ Drive Project Management Discipline – Enforce structured project planning (scope, WBS, schedules, risks, and deliverables) – Track cost, schedule, and efficiency performance and implement corrective actions – Ensure all projects are planned and monitored using OpenProject

✅ Ensure Quality, Compliance & Efficiency – Maintain compliance with ASHRAE, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ISO, LEED, EDGE, and local standards – Reduce design errors and rework through strong review and QA processes – Embed lessons learned and continuous improvement across projects

✅ Develop & Mentor the Engineering Team – Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary MEP team – Promote knowledge sharing, standardization, and professional growth – Foster collaboration across sustainability, R&D, and business development teams

✅ Innovation & Sustainability Leadership – Support the adoption of new technologies and sustainable design practices – Ensure green building compliance across relevant projects

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

✔ Strong working knowledge of Electrical, ELV, and Plumbing systems

✔ 10+ years of experience in senior MEP design or project leadership roles

✔ Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams

✔ Familiarity with LEED, EDGE, ISO 9001/14001

✔ Chartered Engineer preferred

✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and tools such as Trace 3D PLUS, HAP, ETAP, DIALux
