ENGINEER – FACILITIES & BUILDING MAINTENANCE

You should ideally:
have a minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, technical services, or building maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline
be under 45 years of age to meet the role’s requirements
possess strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, generators, UPS, and building services
demonstrate proven ability to manage teams, contractors, and multiple locations effectively
have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
You will be mainly responsible for:
planning, managing, and overseeing the operation and maintenance of building infrastructure and technical systems across branches and corporate premises
ensuring effective maintenance of critical systems including HVAC, electrical panels, standby power, UPS, fire detection, CCTV, access control, plumbing, and civil works
developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans and technical standards
managing technical teams, technicians, and external contractors to ensure service quality and compliance with safety standards
overseeing technical aspects of new projects, refurbishments, and branch fit outs, including design review, installation, and commissioning
preparing budgets, managing costs, supporting procurement processes, and maintaining technical documentation, asset registers, and performance reports
