We’re Hiring: Transportation & Field Operations Intern

🚨 Expo Ceylon is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transportation & Field Operations Intern to join our growing logistics and export operations team.

This is a great opportunity for an entry-level candidate or intern who is eager to build experience in transportation coordination, field operations, and reporting within a dynamic branch network.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Coordinate and manage daily vehicle dispatch schedules

• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, timings, and assignments

• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries across branches

• Track vehicle movements and maintain transport logs

• Monitor delays, deviations, and operational issues

• Escalate breakdowns and transport-related problems promptly

• Support coordination between field teams and branch operations

• Maintain records of vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption

• Track and follow up on transport-related issues until resolution

• Prepare and submit daily/weekly transport reports

• Ensure all transport activities are properly documented and updated

Requirements:-

• Entry-level / Internship position

• Basic knowledge of logistics or transportation is an advantage

• Strong coordination and organizational skills

• Good attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Basic communication and reporting skills

• Highly responsive and execution-focused work style

• Willingness to handle field coordination tasks
