We’re Hiring: Database Engineering Intern (DBA Intern)

Onsys is looking for a Database Intern who’s passionate about databases and eager to build real-world experience with industry experts.

Who can apply

Undergraduate from a recognized university in Sri Lanka

Solid knowledge of database fundamentals (SQL, tables, indexes, joins, normalization, transactions)

Exposure to PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle (any one is fine more is a bonus)

Basic understanding of Linux/Windows OS (commands, services, logs)

Strong attitude to learn + attention to detail

What you’ll work on

Database monitoring & health checks

Backup/restore support and validations (guided)

Basic performance checks & troubleshooting

Documentation and operational support
