Electrical Engineer/ Project Engineer

Hiring: Electrical Engineer / Project Engineer
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineer to support engineering, coordination, procurement, and implementation activities for an upcoming energy-sector assignment.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Support electrical engineering design and technical coordination
✅ Review supplier proposals, technical documents, drawings, datasheets, and compliance documents
✅ Coordinate with equipment suppliers, contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities
✅ Assist in preparation and review of Single Line Diagrams, layouts, cable schedules, protection schemes, earthing layouts, and control system concepts
✅ Support grid connection-related documentation and approval requirements
✅ Review compliance with utility requirements, applicable regulations, IEC standards, and relevant codes
✅ Assist in preparation of BOQ, technical specifications, tender documents, and contractor scope of work
✅ Support technical evaluation, procurement coordination, and cost estimation
✅ Assist with site supervision during installation, testing, commissioning, and handover
✅ Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and documentation
✅ Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and engineering documentation

Required Qualifications
🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, in a related discipline
⚡ Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, power systems, transformers, protection systems, cabling, earthing, and switchgear
⚡ Ability to read and review electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical datasheets
⚡ Good understanding of IEC standards and electrical safety practices
⚡ Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills
⚡ Ability to work with suppliers, consultants, contractors, and authorities
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following areas will be an added advantage:
⭐ Grid-connected electrical systems
⭐ Battery energy storage or solar PV systems
⭐ MV substations and transformer systems
⭐ Power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, and harmonic studies
⭐ ETAP, PSCAD, DIgSILENT, AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, PV*SOL, or similar software
⭐ SCADA, EMS, BMS, PLC, protection relays, and monitoring systems
⭐ Project management, EPC coordination, or site supervision
