We’re Hiring: Technical Support Engineer Intern (Unified Communication Platform)

Cybergate Services is looking for motivated and detail-oriented interns to join our Unified Communications (UC) / IP Telephony team.

This role provides hands-on exposure to carrier-grade telecom solutions, including UC platform provisioning, service delivery, and operational support aligned with industry practices.

Key Responsibilities :-

– Work with Business Analysts to capture and validate customer requirements

– Perform service provisioning and configuration of UC/IP PBX accounts (extensions, DID mapping, call flows, IVR, SIP trunks)

– Align configurations with solution design and customer requirements

– Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate service readiness prior to go-live

– Support service activation, onboarding, and delivery to enterprise customers

– Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and change requests in live environments

– Monitor service performance (QoS / call quality) and ensure adherence to SLAs

– Coordinate with internal teams (NOC / Engineering / BA) for issue resolution and escalations

Candidate Profile

– Final year undergraduate or trainee in IT / Computer Science / Engineering with strong analytical/mathematical background

– Understanding of IP networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, basic routing)

– Exposure or interest in VoIP technologies (SIP, RTP, IP PBX, call routing) is an added advantage

– Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

– Good communication skills for cross-team coordination and customer interaction

– Ability to work with structured processes, ticketing systems, and documentation
