The Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka (DPA) invites applications from dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated finance professionals to join our leadership team as Director – Finance.

As Sri Lanka’s independent regulator established under the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, the DPA plays a pivotal role in safeguarding personal data, promoting responsible data governance, and supporting the nation’s digital economy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Authority’s financial management and budgetary control

Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards

Prepare annual financial statements and the Annual Report for submission to Parliament

Present monthly financial and MIS reports to the Board

Manage financial performance reporting and the Authority’s investments and assets

We are looking for an accomplished finance professional with the required academic and professional qualifications, together with significant managerial experience, who is committed to excellence, integrity, and public service.
