ASSISTANT MANAGER – QA & R&D

Location: Pitakotte

Key Responsibilities:

*Lead and supervise Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and company quality standards·
*Manage product development and formulation improvement projects·
*Conduct quality inspections, testing, and validation of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods·
*Develop and maintain quality documentation, SOPs, specifications, and records·
*Handle product stability studies and quality investigations·
*Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Marketing teams for new product development and launches·
*Monitor regulatory compliance and quality management systems·
*Train and guide QA and R&D team members on quality standards and best practices

Requirements:

*Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field·
*Professional qualifications in Quality Management will be an added advantage·
*Minimum 5 years of experience in QA, QC, or R&D within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, herbal, industry·
*Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001:2015, quality systems, and documentation practices·
*Experience in product formulation and development is highly preferred·
*Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills·
*Excellent communication and team management abilities
