About the Role
Colombo International Campus (CIC) is inviting applications from enthusiastic and technically capable educators for an Assistant Lecturer in Applied Science. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality theory instruction and hands-on laboratory sessions, ensuring students gain both foundational knowledge and practical skills. You’ll be teaching in an environment aligned with internationally recognized assessment practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures and practical laboratory sessions for applied science modules.
- Supervise, support, and assess student experiments and practical work.
- Design Pearson-compliant assignments, practical tasks, and assessment materials.
- Maintain laboratory safety procedures, SOPs, MOPs, and risk assessments.
- Participate in internal assessment standardisation and readiness for external verification.
Minimum Qualifications
Essential: BSc in Applied Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Biomedical Science, or related field.
Desirable: MSc in Applied Science, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
Fresh graduates with First Class or Second Upper degrees are encouraged to apply.
