Automation Engineer (Part-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems that streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. This role is part-time, offering flexibility while providing exposure to critical projects and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and tools to optimize business processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high reliability and performance of automated systems.
Monitor and maintain automation frameworks, identifying opportunities for improvements.
Document automation processes, scripts, and technical specifications for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Support integration with existing platforms, applications, and IT systems.
Work closely with IT, operations, and business teams to implement automation initiatives efficiently.
Provide ongoing support, updates, and enhancements for deployed automation solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience in automation tools
Strong programming or scripting skills (Python, Java, JavaScript, or other relevant languages).
Understanding of business processes and the ability to identify automation opportunities.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing tasks independently.
Flexibility to work part-time hours with potential for remote or on-site presence as needed.
Added advantage:2-3 years of experience in enterprise automation, RPA, or IT systems integration.
