Design Engineer (MM 1-1)

Business Structure –
A wholly owned company established under the Ministry of Fisheries for the manufacture of fishing boats, pleasure boats, fiberglass and fishing gear for the fishing industry.
Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the following vacant positions at Sinor Foundation Limited.

Design Engineer (MM 1-1)

 Basic Qualifications :

Educational Qualifications for External Applicants :
A degree in Naval/Mechanical/Production Engineering recognized by the University Grants Commission.
AND
At least 01 year of experience in the relevant field after graduation.

Having obtained a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Certificate of Proficiency in the subject areas of Nautical/Mechanical/Manufacturing not less than Level 7 issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission and having gained at least one (01) year of experience in the relevant subject area.

Educational Qualifications for Internal Applicants:

Having fulfilled the qualifications for external applicants mentioned above.
OR
Having completed at least five (05) years of satisfactory service in a position in the relevant field in the “Junior Manager” JM service category.

 Age: Should not be less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.
 Salary Scale: MM 1-1 2025 91,690-10 X 2,480-15 X 3,450- = 168,240/- (As per Management Services Circular No. 01/2025)
Basic Salary for the year 2025 – 71,730/- + Other Allowances Approved by the Government

Allowances —
 Monthly Living Allowance – 17,800/-,
 Professional Allowance – 25,000/-
 Vehicle Allowance – 5,000/-
 Telephone Allowance – 3,750/-
