About the job:-

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated candidate to join our Global Engineering Service Center, Colombo.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic circuits, as well as significant involvement in development projects for embedded systems.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with strong electronic circuit designing skills, excellent analytical and organizational abilities.

You should have a passion for innovation and the drive to enhance your skillset, contributing to the development of cutting-edge engineering tools and systems.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:-

Design and develop electronic circuits tailored to specific project needs

Creation of production documents

Qualification and verification of electronic assemblies

Develop comprehensive specifications for hardware requirements

Creation of cost estimates

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure technical requirements are met

Commissioning of electronic assemblies

Diagnose and troubleshoot errors in electronic systems

Design, develop embedded systems, including writing and optimizing firmware

Collaboration on design guidelines and processes

Applicants must possess:-

Strong knowledge and practical skills in both electronics and embedded firmware development

Experience in digital and analog technology, with expertise in designing microcontroller-based systems, power supplies, and signal processing systems

Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Strong team player with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Proficiency in common CAE tools

Fluent in English language, both spoken and written

Educational/Professional Qualifications:-

Masters or Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an electronic design role is required
