Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) – Onsite | Yarl Ventures (PVT) Ltd

Yarl Ventures (PVT) Ltd is looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) to join our onsite team in Sri Lanka.

Fluency in Tamil is mandatory.

As a key part of our development team, you will focus on building high-quality, scalable web applications, designing robust APIs, solving system issues efficiently, and ensuring reliable deployments. We seek individuals who are deeply committed to technical excellence, code quality, and on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and maintain modern web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
Design and implement efficient, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs.
Proactively troubleshoot coding errors, server issues, and deployment bottlenecks.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and system reliability.
Manage hosting environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, Linux VPS), including deployment pipelines and performance tuning.
Set up and maintain Git-based version control workflows, enforcing clean code reviews and structured branching strategies.
Establish CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Write clean, modular, well-documented, and maintainable code aligned with industry best practices.
Follow disciplined development practices, meet committed deadlines, and maintain strong accountability for technical deliverables.

Required Skills:

2+ years of hands-on professional experience with the MERN Stack.
Strong understanding of API development, including error handling, versioning, and security.
Basic experience in cloud hosting, server setup, load balancing, and backup strategies.
Expertise in Git version control and CI/CD pipeline automation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Solid debugging skills for both front-end and back-end issues.
Knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts (optional but advantageous).
Ability to solve complex technical problems independently.
Strong communication skills to support technical collaboration with the team.
Discipline in workplace behavior, coding standards, and deadline commitment.
Fluent in Tamil and able to work onsite at our Jaffna office.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
Proven track record of delivering production-ready applications and handling deployments.
