Ultrasonic Metal Welding as a Sustainable Joining Solution

This 24-month, full-time research project explores the environmental and operational benefits of ultrasonic welding-an adhesive-free, energy-efficient method for joining metals. The study aims to deliver practical insights for industries seeking greener, cost-effective alternatives to conventional bonding techniques.

Key Details:

Start Date: February 2026 (or ASAP)

Stipend: LKR 100,000/month

Eligibility: Sri Lankan nationals with a recognized

4-year BSc (Hons) in Mechanical or related fields (First/Second Upper preferred)
