Job description
We are a Colombo-based Software development company, Narrowband Technologies, engaging in many research and development projects. We would like to meet dynamic, motivated, innovative, and creative people who fulfill the requirements for the following position.
We are looking for a PHP Web Developer for our company.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PHP as a back-end of Development
- Good knowledge of PHP web Frameworks (Codeignitor, Laraval)
- Experience with databse (SQL)
- Good understanding of front-end technologies (React,HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, bootstrap, etc,)
- Knowledge of how to build and design dynamic PHP applications.
- Understanding of front-end development best practices.
- Curios to learn new languages and work with new tools.
- Basic written and communication skills in English
- Basic knowledge of working Figma, and Sketch. (Not designing)
- Should have a good understanding of remote web hosting environments and techniques (Manage C panel, DNS, etc.)
Self-Learning Practices
- Self-learning ability.
- Curios to learning new languages and working with new tools
Responsibilities
- Write clean, modular, and reusable codes
- Understand the requirement based on the specifications and develop core logic.
- Able to manage projects.
- Work in a team environment.
- Attend project discussions with clients and clearly identify the scope of the project and its tasks.
- Troubleshoot and test code/databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Complete tasks on time.
- Share the knowledge with the team and help others to fix issues.
- Follow industry best practices.
