Role Overview:
We are seeking a QA Engineer (Contract) to help ensure the reliability and stability of our new Employee Management System. You will be responsible for performing hands-on feature and release testing, maintaining test documentation, and contributing to the design and implementation of automated tests to support a consistent and reliable test pipeline.

Responsibilities:
Perform manual feature testing for new releases to ensure proper functionality, performance, and usability.

Conduct full release testing and regression testing to ensure product stability.

Write, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans based on functional specifications and user stories.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for frontend, backend, and integration layers.

Collaborate closely with developers and product team members to understand requirements and validate solutions.

Monitor and report software defects, ensuring proper tracking and resolution.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices, test tools, and test coverage.

Requirements:

1+ year of experience in software testing or QA roles.

Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case design.

Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).

Basic knowledge of JavaScript and/or Java for writing test scripts.

Understanding of REST APIs and how to validate them.

Experience with version control systems like Git and CI tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

Detail-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience in setting up or maintaining CI/CD test pipelines.

Exposure to performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).

Familiarity with agile development processes.
