📢 Opportunity for Aspiring Researchers | Fully Funded M.Phil. Position

We are pleased to invite applications for a Research Assistant (M.Phil.) position under a fully funded research project at the University of Moratuwa – Department of Chemical & Process Engineering.

🔬 Research Focus The project aims to develop a photothermally enhanced membrane crystallization (MCr) system inspired by Sri Lanka’s natural salterns, targeting:

* Enhanced salt recovery

* Clean water production

* Reduced energy consumption

* Scalable and commercially relevant membrane technology

This research contributes directly to sustainable water and resource recovery solutions, aligning with Sri Lanka’s sustainable development goals.

🎓 Position Details Degree: M.Phil. (2 years, full-time)

Funding: Fully funded (monthly stipend included)

Supervisor: Dr. Dilhara Sethunga
