Senior ML / AI Engineer (Colombo – Hybrid | ANZ + UAE Travel)

Coderra is scaling our engineering capability in Sri Lanka, and we’re looking for a senior, hands-on engineer who can design, build, and ship real agentic AI systems — not toy demos, not wrappers. This is a senior IC + tech lead role working directly with the CTO and a small, high-performance team.

What you’ll do:-

• Build multi-agent systems, LLM pipelines, and retrieval architectures

• Own major platform components end-to-end

• Lead 3–5 engineers, drive delivery, shape architecture

• Work across experimentation → production → scale

• Operate with autonomy, speed, and technical depth

What we’re looking for

• 4–6+ years in ML/AI engineering

• Strong Python + backend fundamentals

• Proven production experience: RAG, vector search, agentic patterns

• Ability to design distributed systems, not just prompt APIs

• Leadership capability in a fast-moving startup environment Tech you should already know LLMs (GPT-4/5, Claude, LLaMA, Mistral), LangGraph/LangChain/CrewAI/Semantic Kernel, FastAPI, vector DBs, AWS/Azure/GCP, MLOps stacks (MLflow, W&B, Docker/K8s), microservices.
