Job Title- BIM Modeler
Job Location-Dehiwala, Sri Lanka
Job Description-
The BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining 3D models of buildings and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in architectural or engineering design, proficiency in BIM software, and a keen eye for accuracy.
Duties and Responsibilities:–
- Develop detailed 3D models using BIM software.
- Collaborate with the team of BIM Modelers, Project Managers, sales team, clients, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Organize and manage BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure models adhere to industry standards and project-specific requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate models from various disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP, etc.)
- Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Generate 20 drawings and documentation from 3D models for construction and design purposes.
- Maintain accurate records of model versions and revisions.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in BIM technology and industry trends.
Experience:-
- Proven experience as a BIM Modeler or similar role in the AEC (Architecture, and Engineering) industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar.
- Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in BIM Additional Responsibilities:
- Professional certification in BIM or related field.
- Experience with clash detection and resolution.
- Familiarity with other BIM-related software and tools.
Education:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Diploma Qualification in Autodesk Revit (Arch/MEP)
