Job Role – Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of mechanical systems and components. You will be expected to create detailed CAD models, participate in research and product development, and ensure all designs meet stringent quality and safety standards.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Creating innovative mechanical designs and detailed CAD models using SolidWorks.
Performing R&D to improve or create new products.
Ensuring product designs meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production and testing.
Preparing technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
Contributing to simulations and prototype development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree / HNDE / NDT/ NDES in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design
Proficient in SolidWorks
Knowledge in machine design, product development, and engineering calculations

Skills:

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
A strong team player with good communication skills

Preferably:

Residency in or around Negombo is preferred
