VACANCY: Research Assistant Position

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Research Assistant to join our multidisciplinary research project:

“Development of Bacterial Melanin–Iron Oxide Nanocomposite for Enhanced Capture of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Aqueous Systems”

📍 Workstations:
Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya
Department of Agricultural Biology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya

💰 Stipend: LKR 60,000/month
⏳ Duration: 12 months

🎓 Minimum Requirement:
B.Sc. degree with Chemistry and Biology/Microbiology as subjects with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division

⭐ Preference will be given to:

• Chemistry (Honours) graduates (Second Class Upper or above)
• Candidates with a background in Biology/Microbiology
