Prudence Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a passionate and driven Chemical Engineer to join our team in delivering innovative water and wastewater treatment solutions across Sri Lanka and beyond.
This role offers the opportunity to work on real-world environmental challenges and you’ll be part of a young, energetic, and sustainability-driven team with a passion to make a real impact through engineering.
What You’ll Do:
· Assist in the design and execution of water and wastewater treatment projects (ETP/STP/RO).
· Support lab-scale trials, field testing, and data analysis.
· Engage in process development, equipment sizing, proposals and report preparation.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project planning and client communication.
· Conduct site visits and support ongoing plant commissioning and troubleshooting.
What We’re Looking For:
· Strong passion for environmental engineering and a deep motivation to contribute to sustainability-focused solutions in the water and wastewater sector.
· Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
· Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in environmental engineering (internships count!).
· A solid understanding of water/wastewater treatment processes.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and self-learning skills.
· Good communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus if you have:
· Exposure to industrial ETPs or pilot-scale treatment plants.
· Experience with lab testing, process modeling, or monitoring equipment.
