Electrical /Mechanical Engineer / Solar PV Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Design Expertise: Create optimized solar PV system layouts for maximum energy efficiency using tools like AutoCAD and PVSyst.
Documentation & Analysis: Developed detailed Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.
Collaboration: Work closely with project management, procurement, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution.
Compliance & Quality: Ensure designs comply with local electrical codes, industry standards, and company quality benchmarks.
ERP Management: Manage design entries, approvals, and adjustments in the ERP system for project tracking.
Site Assessment: Conduct site visits for feasibility studies and provide technical insights
Innovation & Trends: Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in solar PV design and renewable energy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Valid associate membership of the Incorporated Engineers, Sri Lanka (ECSL)
Experiences:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in solar PV systems with a bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in solar PV systems with HND
Proficiency in design and analysis tools like AutoCAD, PVSyst, or similar.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and solar PV regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients.
