About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and detail-driven Executive – Microbiologist to join our ISO/IEC 17025-accredited Testing Laboratory. If you’re enthusiastic about food microbiology, laboratory excellence, and maintaining the highest quality standards while contributing to a purpose-led global brand, we’d love to hear from you.

As our Executive – Microbiologist, you will play a key role in ensuring the microbiological integrity of our products by conducting laboratory testing, maintaining compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our laboratory operations.

What You’ll Do
Perform microbiological testing using validated laboratory methods.
Prepare culture media, reagents, reference materials, and laboratory samples.
Accurately record, review, and report microbiological test results.
Support method verification, validation, proficiency testing, measurement uncertainty (MU) calculations, and laboratory accreditation activities.
Carry out environmental monitoring and routine laboratory equipment checks.
Maintain laboratory documentation, housekeeping, and safety practices in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Drive continual improvement initiatives, including CAPA implementation and quality system enhancements.
Support additional laboratory quality assurance and quality control activities as required.

What we are looking for

• A recognized B.Sc. Degree with Microbiology as a major subject.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 – accredited testing laboratory.
• Hands-on experience in food microbiological analysis.
• Exposure to chemical testing will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality.
