Financial Analyst

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

▶Investment Analysis: Assist in analyzing investment opportunities by evaluating financial statements, creating financial models, and conducting due diligence on potential portfolio companies.

▶ Market Research: Perform detailed market research, including sector analysis, competitor benchmarking, and identification of key trends and risks in fintech and related industries.

▶ Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast startup performance and potential returns for the fund.

▶ Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the financial performance of portfolio companies, providing reports and insights to the investment team.

▶ Due Diligence: Support the due diligence process by gathering financial data, reviewing key documents, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

▶ Reporting: Prepare regular investment reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including LPs (Limited Partners).

▶ Support Fundraising Efforts: Assist in creating materials and reports for fundraising and investor relations activities.

𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

▶ Interest in Fintech: A genuine passion for the fintech space and an understanding of startup ecosystems is highly desirable.

▶ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.

▶ Experience: 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital, preferably with exposure to the fintech sector.

▶ Financial Modeling: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, including cash flow forecasts, valuation models, and scenario analysis.

▶ Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with financial software and tools such as Bloomberg, PitchBook, or other financial databases is an advantage.

▶ Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

▶ Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a small, dynamic team while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
