The Institute of National Security Studies (INSS), the premier think tank under the Ministry of Defence, is calling for applications for the position of Research Intern.

This is an excellent opportunity for motivated young professionals to gain hands-on experience in national security research and policy development, while working with a leading strategic studies institution in Sri Lanka.

Candidate Profile Highlights:

aged 18-26

Strong analytical, research, and communication skills

Excellent command of English

Proficiency in MS Office

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Availability for a 6-month full-time internship starting first week of March 2026
