Mechanical Design Engineer Internship

We’re hiring Mechanical Design Intern Part-time | Fully Remote
As a Mechanical Design Intern at Dessina, you’ll support the design and documentation of sheet metal electrical enclosures and LV switchboards for manufacturing projects.
You will: –
Design and document sheet metal electrical enclosures and LV switchboards.
Assist in preparing 3D models, flat patterns, fabrication drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical teams, suppliers, and project groups.
Participate in prototyping, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturable designs.
Support accurate documentation that meets production and quality standards.
Qualifications and Requirements :-
You should have: Pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Basic familiarity with SolidWorks and interest in sheet metal design drawings.
Foundational knowledge of fabrication processes, LV switchboards, SLDs, and standards. Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills. Proactive mindset and willingness to learn through hands-on experience.
