✨About the Role:-
Sys Mates is seeking an experienced and proactive Network Engineer to lead and implement network infrastructure projects across our client portfolio.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and reliable network solutions, providing technical support, and working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and ongoing operational excellence.

✨Work Schedule:

This is a remote role; however, the candidate must be available and actively working during Qatar business hours, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Qatar time), which corresponds to 10:30 AM to 07:30 PM (Sri Lanka time).

✨Key Responsibilities:–
*Lead and implement network infrastructure projects, including planning, deployment, migration, and optimization activities.
*Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and network security solutions.
*Design, implement, and support SD-WAN solutions for enterprise and multi-site client environments.
*Provide technical support to clients and manage network-related incidents and service requests.
*Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, escalating to vendors when required based on ticket priority, severity, and support agreements.
*Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
*Monitor network performance, conduct upgrades, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, security, and scalability.
*Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
*Collaborate with cloud, cybersecurity, and software teams to deliver integrated technology solutions.
*Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles, ensuring successful delivery according to client requirements and industry best practices.
*Stay up to date with emerging networking and security technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

✨Qualifications & Experience:-
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.
*Proven experience in network infrastructure implementation, administration, and support.
*Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, wireless networking, firewalls, SD-WAN, and network security technologies.
*Experience leading or participating in network deployment, migration, and transformation projects.
*Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies and enterprise connectivity solutions.
*Experience working with vendor support teams and managing technical escalations.
*Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
*Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred
Fortinet NSE 4
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
SD-WAN certifications or equivalent hands-on experience (Cisco SD-WAN, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN)
