Structural Health Monitoring of Roads and Bridges Using LiDAR and Drone Image Analysis.
The Department of Civil Engineering, University of Moratuwa, invites applications for a full-time PhD position in the area of structural health monitoring of road and bridge infrastructure using LiDAR data and drone-based image analysis. The research will focus on data-driven condition assessment and Al-based predictive modelling.
Eligibility requirements
A Second Class Upper Division or above in a relevant engineering discipline.
Sound knowledge of machine learning and Al-based predictive modelling will be an added advantage.
Willingness to work full-time with a strong commitment to research.
Clear written and oral communication skills in English.
Strong interest in the proposed research area.
