Research Scholar (MPhil Opportunity) – Sustainable Textiles from Temple Waste

We are hiring a full-time Research scholar for a groundbreaking research project related to Circular economy and Temple Waste: Innovating Textile Outcomes to Support Clean Sri Lanka and Global Sustainability Goals.”

This is more than a job, it’s a career-building opportunity! The selected candidate will have the chance to enrol in an MPhil program (subject to University approval) while working on this innovative project.

🔍 We’re Looking For:


A Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fiber Science, Environmental Engineering, or related fields (Second Class Upper or above).


Passion for sustainability, circular economy, and hands-on research.


Willingness to travel across Sri Lanka for fieldwork (temples, labs, and communities).


Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
