Job Summary:
Versa Global Fashions, an Australia-based clothing brand, is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Controller (QC) based in Sri Lanka.
The role involves supporting inspections and reporting across various production stages. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in garment manufacturing and quality control, with strong remote communication and reporting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial sample inspections, including Salesman Samples (SMS) and Pre-Production (PP) samples.
• Perform in-line and final bulk inspections at factory locations.
• Identify product issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Work closely with factory QC and production teams.
• Submit detailed inspection reports (including photos and measurement charts) to the Australian team via email.
• Maintain clear communication and provide timely updates on quality and production.
• Join remote meetings when required.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in garment quality control or a similar field.
• Strong technical understanding of garment construction, QC processes, and AQL standards.
• Familiar with all stages: initial samples, SMS, PP, in-line, and final inspections.
• A Diploma or qualification in Apparel/Fashion Technology or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in email communication and remote reporting.
• Access to a laptop/PC and reliable internet connection.
• Ability to travel locally for factory visits.
Working Hours & Compensation:
• Flexible working hours based on factory schedules.
• Pay: Competitive per-inspection rate, negotiable based on experience.
