We’re Hiring | Finance Manager

We are looking for a dynamic, results driven, and experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance and accounting function.

📍 Location: Negombo
💰 Salary: Salary for the above positions is negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

✅Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with SLFRS/IFRS and applicable accounting standards.
✅Provide management with accurate financial performance reports and insights to support strategic decision making.
✅Oversee fixed asset management, finance operations, and ERP/accounting system controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
✅Ensure timely compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements, including Inland Revenue and other relevant authorities.
✅Manage corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory obligations while supporting tax planning initiatives.
✅Coordinate external audits and maintain effective relationships with auditors, tax consultants, banks, regulators, and other stakeholders.
✅Monitor changes in tax legislation and accounting standards and assess their impact on the business.
✅Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while ensuring smooth and effective departmental operations.
✅Deputize for the CFO as required, including representing Finance in management and leadership discussions .

Requirements:

✅Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
✅Fully qualified member of a recognized professional accounting body (CA / ACCA / CIMA / CMA).
✅Preferred: MBA or postgraduate qualification in Finance or Business Management.
✅Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles. At least 2–3 years of experience in a managerial capacity.
✅Proven track record in preparing financial statements under SLFRS/IFRS and managing statutory audits.
✅Prior hands-on exposure to ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Preferred Working knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting/BI tools.
