Role: Counsellor (Contract Basis)

Location: Colombo (Hybrid)

Role Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and empathetic Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing psychological support through individual therapy, conducting clinical assessments, and collaboratively developing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will work closely with other healthcare and wellness professionals to ensure a client-centred, holistic approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (in-person and/or virtual)
Perform psychological assessments and formulate care plans
Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Contribute to internal case discussions and team consultations
Participate in workshops, awareness campaigns, or outreach programs, if required

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical, educational, or wellness setting
Fluency in English or Sinhala (fluency in both is an advantage)
Strong ethical foundation and adherence to confidentiality protocols
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
