Junior QA Engineer

We are Hiring – Junior QA Engineer (On-site)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through effective testing practices and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Software Engineering / Computer Science (Mandatory)
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies
- Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira or similar)
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Knowledge of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) to support testing activities
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and system workflows
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of performance or security testing basics
- Experience working in Agile environments
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases
- Identify, document, and track bugs effectively
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure product quality
- Assist in maintaining test documentation and reports
- Utilize AI tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity
- Support test automation efforts where applicable
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution
