Quality Assurance Intern

Role Description: We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our remote team and support software quality processes across web platforms and digital products.

This unpaid internship offers practical experience in software testing, bug reporting, test case creation, usability analysis, and product quality improvement.

Responsibilities include manual testing, documenting defects, validating UI/UX consistency, collaborating with developers to resolve issues, and helping ensure reliable, user-friendly software delivery.

Qualifications:

– 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚.

– Basic understanding of software testing concepts, QA methodologies, and SDLC.

– Familiarity with manual testing, test case writing, and bug reporting.

– Awareness of UI/UX testing principles and cross-browser/device compatibility.

– Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Trello, TestRail, or similar.

– Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.

– Ability to identify, document, and communicate software issues clearly.

– Basic understanding of APIs and functional testing concepts.

– Interest in software reliability, usability, and performance.

– Effective communication and collaboration in remote teams.

– Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; final-year students encouraged.

Nice to have:

– Exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium/Postman. Familiarity with Agile workflows.

– Basic knowledge of performance or security testing.

– Experience testing responsive websites or mobile apps.

– Understanding of accessibility standards.
