Jay Jay Mills Lanka, a leading apparel manufacturer committed to sustainable excellence, is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our Sustainability Team as Senior Executive – Sustainable Business.
This role is ideal for someone eager to lead impactful environmental initiatives while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in sustainability performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct internal environmental sustainability audits across facilities.
Prepare and circulate Corrective Action Plan (CAP) reports; follow up with plant teams for feedback and implementation.
Perform external supplier evaluations/audits based on buyer-specific sustainability requirements.
Coordinate CAP report sharing and follow-up with external suppliers.
Complete the Higg FEM 4.0 assessments and facilitate verification processes with external verifiers.
Lead the annual Sustainability and Chemical Handling Training program for factory teams.
Organize and conduct annual factory-level chemical spill drills.
Drive updates for ISO 14001:2015 and support the surveillance audit process.
Evaluate waste collectors and recyclers in accordance with the waste management evaluation cycle.
Support implementation of Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-related activities.
Plan and execute community-driven CSR initiatives aligned with company values.

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Engineering, Eco-Business Management, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
1–2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
