Senior Project Manager - Solar PV

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Solar PV Projects to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of utility-scale and commercial solar projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale solar PV installations from concept to commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:-

Lead end-to-end project management of solar PV installations, from feasibility through to handover.

Coordinate with internal engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.

Oversee procurement of equipment and negotiation of contractor agreements.

Conduct site visits and supervise construction activities. Report project progress to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience :-

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.

A Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Minimum 8+ years of project management experience in the solar energy sector.

Proven experience in managing large-scale solar PV projects (preferably utility-scale).

PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials will be a plus.

Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, grid integration, and permitting processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness to travel to project sites across the country.
