Requirements

Successful completion of a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety with at least 1 year of experience in the construction industry, or successful completion of a Certificate Course in Health & Safety with at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry. (Preference will be given to candidates with CIDA qualifications and Health & Safety Diplomas.)

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections and hazard identification.

Ensure site compliance with local regulations and ISO standards.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to Health & Safety activities, including permits, inspections, and training records.

Provide guidance and training to employees on Health & Safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and safe work practices.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; analyze root causes and develop preventive measures to enhance workplace safety.
